This yarn is perfect for any beginning knitter, beautifully variegated with long color repeats in modern striking colours which will brighten the dark days and it knits up so fast, the second version in cool aqua and lovely greens will be ready when winter comes.
Irish Moss- my Memory block study is on the quilting hoop so that it can be hung on the wall in january.
This bluegreen Bekah fabric was a real challenge, it is so "uncolorful" with its limited colour scheme but worked out in an elegant and a quite visual relaxing piece in contrary to what I tend to work with.

The quilt was barely on the hoop when I had the imidiate urge to follow the Minton Fabric and make him into a teapot, resembling the Royal Doulton ones, which I found as I googled Minton, who was a manufacturer of fine china and tableware in the 19 th century.I spare you the Dresden plate blocks which followed naturally, as I began rummaging through my Den Haan and Wagenmakers scraps. They are a perfect match- teapot and plates, need some cups too. Pictures coming soon...

Working on "Scrapparadise" is a kind of visual vacation which I need most in these grey, dull days, as are my frequent visits to blogs in Australia, New Zealand and South America where they indulge in colourbursting flowers !.

I'm new to the handquilters ring and found your blog. I really enjoyed seeing your quilting and knitting, they are both beautiful!
