Der zweite Block kam am Montag heraus und die Schildkröten von Alexander Henry boten sich für das große Mittelquadrat einfach an, drumherum Oakshott monaco blue als Hintergrundstoff und ein Den Haan & Wagenmakers Karo für die Sternenspitzen.
Ich überlege noch, ob ich diese schönen Karos nicht ins Programm nehmen soll. Was meint Ihr?
Actually I caught up with the star quiltalongers.
The second block was launched on Monday and the Turtle Bay/ turtles on navy by Alexander Henry were my first choice for the big middle square.
For the background I chose an Oakshott cotton in monaco blue and one of the DenHaan & Wagenmaker checks for the star points.
Looks like another bit of sand and sea but there are no turtles in the North Sea.
I would like to add these checks to the shop, what do you think?

Ich wollte auch schon lange die Fotos von der Ausstellung hochgeladen haben, aber der Garten und die Algenblüte im Fischteich wollen zur Zeit auch noch in Schach gehalten werden. Manchmal wäre ein Klon praktisch:)
Ach ja, Freitagabend wird ab 19.30 Uhr wieder gestrickt, diesmal vielleicht auf der Terrasse.

And I wanted to show you my photos of the last weekend, I hope to find some time to upload them to flickr but the garden and the fish pond in which the green algae are in full bloom demand attention too. Sometimes I'm in need of a clone:)

That Alexander Henry fabric is perfect for that center square! So pretty.
