Fingerhüte und Pomponschablonen und neue Strickbücher
Heute gaben sich die Paketdienste die Klinke in die Hand: erst die Post mit den neuen englischen Strickbüchern, in die ich bisher kaum einen Blick tun konnte.
Dann kamen die noch ausstehenden Clover Pomponschablonen für niedliche kleine Wollküken zu Ostern außerdem noch große Jo-jos... Juhu! die wurden schon knapp!
Und dann man glaubt es kaum -in Waalre bestellt- Roxanne Fingerhüte und Nadelgleiter.
Oh Happy Day!
Dabei wollte ich heute kleine Kaleidoskope zuschneiden, nachdem ich mein Wochenende heiser und hustend mit dem großen Kaleido-Ruler von Marti Mitchell zugebracht habe.
Kein Vergleich mit den Kaleidoskopschablonen, die ich bisher verwendet habe.
Dieses Lineal ist eine Wucht: kein Rechnen, nur Schneiden.
Die Restestreifen-Kiste musste herhalten und mir war so pink und grün.

Craft supplies, Knitting books and wooly endeavours
After a weekend coughing and sneezing, nearly without voice, I spent most of the time
with my new big Kaleido- ruler from Marti Mitchell experimenting with bright pinks and limegreen. What a cure!
The cold is nearly gone but the voice not really here.
Nonetheless it was the day of the mail services: I received 4 packets of goods!

First craft books from Amazon: Yarnplay by Lisa Shohana Mason, Meditations for Women who knit too much by Yarn Harlot Stephanie and Stitch'n Bitch by Debbie Stoller.
I hardly had a peak inside because of all the other goodies I had to put in my webshop: the pomponmakers for cuddly little easter chicken, more yo-yo makers,
and finally Roxanne thimbles and Millers Quilting needle gliders.
And last but not least a big envelope with Lecien fabric samples from lovely Gisela.
Have to show you my newest knits, that's why my quilts don't get finished :-)

This is my scarf project for my trip to Foehr on Sunday. We escape the carnival and will take part in the Fering tradition of Biike , a bonfire to chase the winter on St.Peters Day, the 21 st of February .
