Jetzt! warum jetzt?
Ich habe mit einem "warmen" Strickprojekt angefangen.........
einem mit Suchtcharakter.

Why it is getting so d.... hot now?!!!
I started a warm knitting project, the Kauni yarn and Ruth's pattern waited for nearly a year in the yarn dungeons of the House of Struck.
It was lousy cold here, some December mornings were cosier, believe me.....
So I had to follow the call of my long neglected stash.
Do you want to know why the progress?
it is so simple...........this knit is addictive.
You just want to see the next colour combination evolve.

On modifications: yes, I admit, I am a modifier. I changed the leaves pattern to a Norwegian fair isle from the vast collection of free patterns of Jeannette from Netherland which I will remember more easily and where I do not have to catch in floats of so many stitches.
Both hand knitting is difficult enough.
If you want a clever explanation look here.
Now I am a thrower too.
Rainbow yarn on left hand and picking- green background yarn on the right hand and throwing. I do not remember my last fair isle, let it be twenty years.

Oh, there are a load of new books full of great ideas for small time budget sewers.

My sewing time budget has been changed to..........knitting time under the crabapple tree. I'm coming!

not to forget to mention

ALL THOSE ABBA,MERYL STREEP,COLIN FIRTH and PIERCE BROSNAN FANS ARE OBLIGED TO WATCH THIS MOVIE

Imagine what soundtrack I am listening to the whole day.
My sweet revenge for so many hours of death metal and punk rock:)
But they (kids) are suffering humming these catchy songs.
I don't feel guilty.

A propos:

my house is also booming with death metal and swedish techno. A little Abba is a welcome change. Love the colors in your knitting. I'm in awe. I'm teaching myself to knit. (sort of, at least i'm making an attempt!)

It's TweedleBee from Toni Talks Two. Glad you entered the Giveaway! Your work is beautiful, I am going to show your knitting to my son who is addicted to wool and needles. I have not written any patterns down for my toys, I only have cut pieces of paper in a file folder to guide me through this thing I love. Do you have any suggestions for me?
