Spring? Spring!- Frühlingsgefühle

Endlich wagt sich der Frühling zaghaft in unsere Gefilde.
Die Krokusse blühen schon und die kleinen Narzissen zeigen schon Blütenköpfchen.
Zeit den Laden umzuräumen!

Am Wochenende sind die Frühjahrs- und Sommergarne in die Regale gewandert..........

I admit I have a weak spot for those Estonian Kauni yarns and quite a collection which I could share with you ;)

recently yarns from Spain arrived and they sparkle and inspire to elegant knits



und pastellige Lacegarne schmücken die Mittelkonsole mit den neuen Modellen und Buchvorstellungen für wunderschöne Sommerstickerein



you can easily imagine that it is quite hard to work amidst these beautiful craft supplies and hardly find a minute left to sew
but there is still hope

and yarn



We also changed the winter quilts to spring and summer themed ones which blend perfectly with the bright, bold and colourful fabrics of this season

Die Quilts wurden ausgewechselt und geben wie immer den Ton an:

bunt fröhlich lebendig

die passenden neuen Stoffe stehen auch schon bereit
und wer nicht näht, hat Lust auf ein paar Frühlingssocken in Baumwolle für die Stiefelfüße.


and those who do not find time or do not enjoy to quilt will perhaps be fond of those new sock yarns in cotton blends



und an den nächsten beiden Samstagen wird in der Lounge- dem Sofazimmer, wo jetzt noch die Winter-Sonderangebotsgarne auf Strickwillige warten, einiges zu sehen sein:

am 14.03.09 wird Frau Dahms ihre wunderschönen Glasperlen- Kreationen ausstellen

und am 21.03.09 können Filzblumen und Teddies von Frau Kittel bewundert werden.

We made plans to host some events in late spring and summer:
a knit- out on worldwide knitting day in June
and a quilters show and tell after the summer holidays

as ist is still quite cold outside we have some exhibitions of talented neighbourhood crafters in the lounge on saturdays 03/14 and 03/21.
