UFO Friday- Was wird fertig bis Freitag?

DER Quilt ist weg, na ja auf dem Weg nach Eindhoven per Flugzeug, hoffe ich.
Am Mittwoch habe ich ihn gut verpackt zur Post gebracht.
Jetzt bin ich gespannt, wie er aufgehängt von weitem aussieht,und muss mich noch bis nächsten Samstag gedulden.




THE quilt is eventually sent away to Eindhoven, NL, where it will be displayed with a NO.98. My first entry in an International judged quilt show, scary.....
I wonder how it will look hung high from afar.
I have to wait until next weekend.
Time will fly as we are going on a trip to Foehr to feel the wind and let the soul rest before the next storm comes.
The last weeks were not only busy but stressfull in many ways.
Juggling family, shop and my many other activities consumed my whole concentration and strength ...........I have to recharge my batteries.



Die Wartezeit wird schnell vergehen, denn es geht am Sonntag in den Kurzurlaub.
Eine Woche Föhr mit anschließender Rundreise zu den europäischen Quiltausstellungen in den Niederlanden und Luxemburg.
Ist auch dringend nötig, mal durchpusten und fünfe gerade sein lassen, sind die letzten Wochen doch sehr turbulent und kräftezehrend gewesen, alles in allem.



Meine Dear Jane Blöcke dieser Woche:
Nein, zum Paperpiecing habe ich mich diesmal nicht durchringen können und nur die ausgesucht die einigermaßen leicht von der Hand gingen. Und wenn sie etwas krumm daherkommen, na und?

Auf dem Arbeitstisch liegt der lila- taupe- farbene Quiltalong-Quilt,den ich mit Amanda Jean genäht habe. Er bekommt gleich das letzte Stück Umrandung und geht dann in den Brutstapel: muss mir erst ein Quiltmuster überlegen.

Das nächste Quiltalong mit einem Sternenthema startet am Montag. Ich werde wohl zeitlich um eine Woche versetzt wieder teilnehmen. Diesmal wird es ein amerikanisch rot blau weißer Quilt mit den Moda Punkten von Red, White & Bold.

My Dear Jane blocks are different this week. I could not get convinced that paperpiecing would be fine, so I chose from the many blocks some which were easy and fun. If they seem to be a bit wonky ........this week was wonky too.

On my working table, the quiltalong quilt is getting its last border so I can start the next one when I am at home again with its pretty star theme all in patriotic blue red and white.
I will post more pictures of the purple and taupe one soon.
