OK, so here we go, 7 random facts.....

1. ich bin schüchtern, auch wenn Ihr es nicht glaubt

I am shy, I know you will hardly believe it

2. ich komme aus dem deutschen Süden, aber man hört es kaum, oder nur wenn andere Süddeutsche mich mit Dialekt anstecken.

I am originally fom Southern Germany/ from Baden , but no one will discover any dialect until another southern speaker is near.

3. ich hasse es, rückwärts zu fahren, nicht nur beim Einparken, generell kostet es mich Überwindung im Auto zu bleiben, auch wenn mein so sicher fahrender DH der Fahrer ist, manchmal steige ich aus......

I really hate reversing/to drive backwards, not only with parking, and even if my DH, who is a very good driver, is the chauffeur, sometimes I have to get out of the car.

4. ich habe Fernweh, muss mich aber zu weiten Fahrten regelrecht überwinden, vielleicht hilft ein eigener Hubschrauber/ mit PilotIn

I have itchy feet, wanderlust, but it's hard for me to travel far away, perhaps it would be better with my own helicopter and pilot:)

5.ich singe sehr,sehr gerne und vom Blatt, aber nicht alleine

I love love singing and do so at sight but not alone

6.ich liebe Science Fiction und Fantasy -Romane und Serien, wie Star Trek, Babylon 5, Herr der Ringe/LOTR lange bevor die Filme gedreht worden sind, sie befeuern meine Fantasie.

I love fantasy and science fiction -they fire my imagination- such as LOTR or Babylon 5.

7. ich lese furchtbar schnell und viel, die Bibliothekare auf der Insel wundern sich über die Stapel an Lesestoff für nur kurze Urlaubszeiten. Es sei denn, das Buch ist auch anstrengend für die Gehirnwindungen/ Fachbücher, dann dauerts länger.

I read very fast and need a lot of books on vacation to keep quiet, the librarians on the island wonder everytime I take a dozen of books for only a week or so.
Okay manuals and specialist literature take longer.
